2013 Membership Registration Forms

The Registration Day was held on Sunday with a great response from the youth in particular but a lot of adults now need to be followed up. This takes up a lot of time from Committee Members who are all volunteers. So we call on people to come forward with their membership subscription.

Youth membership is £5 and adults start at £30. More thirty-pound members are welcome but we also need another few more Gold members at £10 per month or £120 per year. You could win our Monthly Draw prize of £100. We are trying to compile better records so we would ask members to complete the new Membership form. If we have all your details then you will get an official GAA Membership Card produced by Croke Park in a few months.

For Membership you can contact Brian McGeary, Registrar; Frank Donnelly, Chair;
Tommy Mitchell, Secretary ; Sean McNicholl; Assistant Secretary; Kieran Hayes, Treasurer; or Sean Maguire, Assistant Treasurer; or your usual Club contact.

Collegeland GAC Notes – 12 February 2013

Bereavement

The Committee and Members of Collegeland O’Rahillys GAC deeply regret the death of
Donal Magner (RIP), esteemed founding member, former player, and grandfather of our
young Naomh Eoin players Gareth and Daniel O’Hagan. Donal’s sporting interests were
not confined to gaelic football as he started a hurling team in Loughgall and also managed
St Peters Camogie team in Collegeland. Donal was well respected in sporting circles and
was a former Chairman of Armagh Camogie County Board. Members of Collegeland
O’Rahillys and members of the former St Peters Collegeland Camogie Club formed the
guard of honour at the funeral on Saturday.

Youth membership is £5 and adults start at £30. More thirty-pound members are welcome but we also need another few more Gold members at £10 per month or £120 per year. We  thank those parents and family members who already support the underage activities in a number of different ways.  We would hope to see more families of our young Naomh Eoin and camogie players from the area as our Collegeland Club members.  Sometimes people are wary of joining a Club in case they are expected to do something extra but at the same time wanting the Club to provide their children with training and football/camogie.
