Collegeland GAC Notes – 5 March 2013

Registration/Membership

After a slow start Membership Registration for 2013 is going well so we call on the
remaining members and new members to come forward with their membership
subscription. Youth membership is still only £5 and adults start at £30. More thirty-
pound members are welcome but we also need another few more Gold members at £10
per month or £120 per year. Gold Members could win our Monthly Draw prize of £100,
the first three draws for 2013 are to be drawn soon so hurry if you want included. We
are trying to compile better records so we would also ask members to complete the new
Membership form, can be printed from the website. If we have all your details then you
will get an official GAA Membership Card produced by Croke Park.

Condolences

The Committee and Members of Collegeland O’Rahillys GAC tender their condolences to
the family of Seamus Mackle (RIP), former player and uncle of underage player James
and also to the family of Kitty White (RIP), Loughgall mother of Father Seamus White.

Senior Football

The weekly football training is underway but there is still time for more players to get
on-board for the new League season starting in a few weeks. Contact Team Managers
Seamus Murphy and Brian Morris or Sean McNicholl, Assistant Secretary or any player
for further information. This weekend sees Collegeland footballers travelling to Belfast
to meet Cardinal O’Donnell’s GAC. The O’Donnell’s are managed by local man, Paul
Mellon. This game is in Belfast on Sunday at 2.00pm.

Irish Dancing. The McBride School of Irish Dancing continues in the Collegeland
Clubrooms on Tuesdays from 5.30 to 6.30 Beginners and 6.30 to 8.00 Advanced.
